Road Safety Week 2023

•  To observe Road Safety Week (15th May - 21st May) and to make students aware of the traffic rules, a visit to The Traffic Park, Chandigarh was organized for the students of classes 1 and 2.Students were given knowledge about the Traffic Lights, Zebra Crossing and how to be safe using various Sign Boards.Teachers told the students about the Theme of the Road Safety week, 2023 i.e. "Our Aim- Zero Harm" that lays emphasis on significance of protecting the society as a whole. Traffic policemen discussed some safety measures like wearing a helmet while driving a two wheeler, driving within the speed limit, refraining from using the mobile phones while driving etc.

  The students participated enthusiastically during the interactive session and promised to always follow the safety rules on the road.
